Things to Have in Mind for Your Estimate
What are your existing door and frame made of?
Wood frames, aluminum frames, and existing steel frames all have different replacement requirements.
Do you want glass in the door, or sidelites next to it?
Site lites add natural light and curb appeal but reduce privacy. Door glass options range from full-lite to decorative inserts to no glass at all. If privacy is a concern, decorative or frosted glass is recommended.
What hardware would you like?
We can order door knobs, handles, combination sets, or digital locks to fit your preferences.
What hardware finish do you want?
Our standard hardware package includes a satin nickel knob and lock set. Oil-rubbed bronze, matte black, and polished brass are the most common upgrades. Matching your existing exterior hardware is worth considering. We can help you coordinate if you’re not sure what you have.
What color or finish are you thinking?
Most doors come primed and ready for you to paint yourself. Custom paint colors and stained finishes are available but add cost and lead time. It’s worth discussing during our call so you can weigh your options.
